Mezzo-Soprano Claire Mackay did a wonderful performance of the choral pieces.

In the second half we performed Beethoven's First Symphony

2011

 

Sunday 29th May
This included Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1, "Flower Duet" (Delibes), excerpts from "The Marriage of Figaro" (Mozart), "Nimrod" (Elgar) and Peer Gynt (Grieg). We were priviliged and delighted to perform with talented Leeds College of Music students Lucia Walsh-Hughes, Wendy Carr and Dominic Mountain.

Saturday 11th July

 

A joint concert was given with the Alwoodley Singers to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Alwoodley Community Association. It took place in the Alwoodley Community Hall and included lighter music from our repertoire.
